Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13th, 1962. After her debut on film during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) and Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in the United States and is both an actress as well as an author. She began her career in film early in the 1980s with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of praise. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. Her debut success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. Although the budget was just $1 million its earnings crossed the mark of $50 million. The actress also appeared on various television shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her TV debut. The show was for teens that began to air in April 1980.
