Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes plays an American actress who is best known for playing the role of detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. She received critical acclaim as Eleni Anderson Cooper, her first TV role in CBS' soap drama Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She's also filming a new television series titled Gods & Heroes.
