Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland's Reykjavik. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the only female in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter and also an Icelandic CrossFit athlete as well as a popular journalist. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. Also, she was credited with winning in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised through her mother and father at Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and working out enthusiast from at an early age, Annie participated in various school games and was awarded numerous medals. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in the year 2009. The performance she showed was impressive during her first competitions. Annie Thorisdottir has 31 years of age (as at 2021). She is 5'7" and she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit classes in California in the year 2009. Annie had an impressive performance at her very first games. She was among the top 10 in a field of 70. The team did not make it to the top of the event and finished it with a ranking of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen coached her to an overall second place in the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. In her second year, she competed again in CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first woman who won CrossFit Games. Annie won again in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her exceptional performance. She was the first female athlete to win the two CrossFit Games at once. Silver medals were awarded in 2014; and in 2021, she won a Bronze medal at the CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. In the last few years, as an athlete Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekicks Yerbae among many others. There are a few thousand subscribers to her own Youtube Channel, where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are shared.
